We
pray also for families living in war-torn regions, American armed
forces on active duty overseas and their families at home.
So we may request
the prayers and concerns of our congregation in a timely manner,
please advise Church Office if the prayer concern you’ve requested
may be removed from the above listing.
In
the Hospital?
This is a
large church, and being such, the pastors and staff don't always
know in a timely fashion when or where there is a need, especially
in the event of a hospitalization or a death.
In the event
of the hospitalization or death of a family member, please call
the church as soon as possible. We are here to be in ministry
with and for you, so please call us at 439-9976. New privacy laws
limit the information that’s available to clergy, and shorter
stays combine to make it easy to miss people. Please call in advance,
if possible, and let us know if you’re in the hospital. We
don’t want you to be missed!
Do you have
a prayer request? If so, you’re invited to share your concerns
with the church. Each week prayer concerns are lifted up in worship;
if requested they are also listed in the Sunday bulletin, in The
Telescope and on the web site. Concerns are also shared with
staff and with the Intercessory Prayer Group that meets every
Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m.
If you have
a prayer request, please fill out a prayer request card found
in the pew racks, call the church office at 439-9976, or e-mail
us.
In all these
ways we fulfill the biblical charge to “pray for one another.”
(James 5:17) Thank you!
